Is SheJoins a dating or escort service?
No. SheJoins is for platonic company in public places, between women: a concert, a coffee, a walk, a film or a hospital visit. Any sexual or romantic request means removal.
Who can join SheJoins?
SheJoins is for women. Every member's government ID must state female. Members must also be 21 or over. A person on our team checks every ID and a short video before anyone can see or be seen.
Which ID can I use?
A passport, a masked Aadhaar, a national ID card, a voter ID or a driving licence. It must show your sex or gender. Many driving licences don't, so if yours doesn't, we'll ask for another ID.
What does it cost?
Joining and verification are free. Companions set their own rates, and you see the full price, with every fee, before you confirm.
What if I feel unsafe?
Press and hold SOS. It alerts our safety team and your trusted contact, and shows the local emergency number to call. In an emergency, always call that number first.
Can a companion help with medical care?
No. A companion keeps you company at an appointment. She isn't a nurse or carer, and doesn't give medical help or advice.
How do you keep members safe?
Every member is verified by a person. You meet only at approved public venues. When you meet, you swap start codes. During the booking we check in, and an SOS button alerts our safety team and your trusted contact. Contact details and payments stay in the app.
Where is SheJoins available?
Bookings open soon. You can join and get verified now.
What happens to my ID?
Only our review team sees it. We delete the photos of your ID and your video 30 days after we decide. We keep the decision, the last 4 characters of your ID number, and one-way codes that can't be turned back into your details.
