Women only

Women-only company in Singapore

Women only. Every member is a woman, verified by ID and a live video.

Travelling alone? Find a verified local woman to explore Singapore with.

Singapore packs gardens, hawker centres and a waterfront skyline into one easy city, and it's a good place to travel alone. Still, a local woman beside you knows which hawker stall is worth the queue and where to find the quiet corners. SheJoins helps you find a verified woman to explore with, and every plan is platonic and in a public place.

Ideas for your first plan

Famous public places in Singapore to start with. They're ideas, not partner venues: in the app, every plan uses a public venue from our approved list.

Concerts and events

  • Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay. The spiky 'durian' halls on Marina Bay, for concerts, dance and free shows by the water.
  • Singapore Indoor Stadium. The arena in Kallang, where the big tours play.

Coffee and meals

  • Maxwell Food Centre. A classic hawker centre near Chinatown. Share a few plates and find your favourite.
  • Lau Pa Sat. A Victorian cast-iron market hall in the financial district, full of food stalls.
  • Tiong Bahru. Art deco blocks, a much-loved wet market and bakeries in a quiet old neighbourhood.

Movies and shopping

  • Orchard Road. Singapore's long shopping street, air-conditioned malls end to end.
  • Kampong Glam. Haji Lane's small shops and the golden dome of Sultan Mosque, all in one walk.

Walks and city days

  • Gardens by the Bay. The Supertree Grove and the huge cooled conservatories, an easy half-day together.
  • Singapore Botanic Gardens. A UNESCO garden with the National Orchid Garden, lakes and shady lawns.
  • Marina Bay waterfront. A loop around the bay, past the Merlion and the skyline.
  • National Gallery Singapore. Southeast Asian art in the old City Hall and Supreme Court buildings.
  • Southern Ridges. Walkways through the treetops linking parks, including the wave-shaped Henderson Waves bridge.

A good first plan in Singapore

A good first plan is short and easy to leave: lunch at a hawker centre, or a walk in the Botanic Gardens in the cool of the morning. If it goes well, plan Gardens by the Bay or a show at the Esplanade next time. The MRT makes everything easy to reach, so meet at a station you both know and agree on an exact meeting point.

Safety in Singapore

In Singapore, the MRT and taxis make it easy to get around late, but still plan your way back before you set off, and share your plan with your trusted contact. During a booking, SOS alerts our safety team and your trusted contact.

  • Women only, verified with ID and a live video check

  • Camera-only profile photos, so what you see is who you meet

  • An SOS button and safety check-ins on every booking

  • Public places only, with every message and payment kept in the app

  • Your payment is held until the activity is done

How we keep every booking safe

Verified by a person

SheJoins is for women. Every member's government ID must state female, and she must be 18 or over. Our team checks each ID against a short live video before anyone can see or be seen. ID images are deleted 30 days after we decide.
