Safety on every booking
Women only. SheJoins is built around safety: verified women, public places, check-ins and SOS on every booking.

How we keep you safe
Verified by a person. Every member shows a government ID that states female, and records a short live video. A person on our team checks both before anyone can see or be seen. ID images and the video are deleted 30 days after we decide.
Camera-only profile photos. Profile photos are taken in the app, not uploaded, so what you see is who you meet.
Public places only. Plans happen at public venues on our approved list, during set hours. Never a home, a hotel room or an overnight plan.
Start codes and check-ins. When you meet, you swap start codes, so you both know it's the right person. During the booking, the app checks in with you, and if you don't answer, our safety team follows up.
SOS, one press away. Press and hold SOS to alert our safety team and your trusted contact, with your location while the app is open. It also shows the local emergency number to call.
Everything stays in the app. Phone numbers, links and payments stay inside SheJoins. Chats block contact details, and your number is never shown to anyone.
Your safety data
Your location is shared only while the app is open during a booking, or when you press SOS. Only our safety team and your trusted contact see it, and we delete it 72 hours after the booking ends. Safety data is never used for anything else, and never sent to analytics.
