Women only

Women-only company in London

Women only. Every member is a woman, verified by ID and a live video.

London has a concert, a gallery or a market for every weekend, yet it can be a lonely city to explore on your own. When SheJoins opens here, you'll be able to find a verified woman to go with you, from a night at the Royal Albert Hall to a Sunday at Borough Market. Every plan will be platonic, and every plan in a public place.

Coming soon to London. You can join and get verified now, from anywhere.

Ideas for your first plan

Famous public places in London to start with. They're ideas, not partner venues: in the app, every plan uses a public venue from our approved list.

Concerts and events

  • Royal Albert Hall. Concerts of every kind under the famous dome in South Kensington.
  • Southbank Centre. Concert halls, galleries and riverside walks, all in one place on the South Bank.
  • The O2. The big arena on the Greenwich Peninsula, for the tours you don't want to miss.

Coffee and meals

  • Borough Market. London's historic food market by London Bridge. Graze your way round together.
  • Covent Garden. Street performers, the old market hall and plenty of places for lunch.

Movies and shopping

  • Camden Market. Vintage clothes, records and street food by the canal.
  • Columbia Road Flower Market. The Sunday flower market in east London, with little shops along the street.
  • BFI Southbank. Classic and new films beside the river, and plenty to talk about afterwards.

Walks and city days

  • Hyde Park. The Serpentine, wide lawns and long paths in the middle of the city.
  • Hampstead Heath. Wild heathland and the view from Parliament Hill.
  • British Museum. Two million years of history, more fun when you can pick favourites together.
  • Tate Modern. Modern art in a former power station on the Thames.

A good first plan in London

A good first plan is short and easy to leave: a walk along the South Bank, or an hour in a free museum such as the British Museum or Tate Modern. If it goes well, try a concert or a market next time. London is big, so choose somewhere central or on a Tube line you both use, and agree exactly where you'll meet before you go.

Safety in London

In London, call 999 for police, ambulance or fire (112 works too). Check your last train or bus home before you go out, and share your plan with your trusted contact. When SheJoins opens here, SOS on every booking will alert our safety team and your trusted contact, and show 999 to call.

  • Women only, verified with ID and a live video check

  • Camera-only profile photos, so what you see is who you meet

  • An SOS button and safety check-ins on every booking

  • Public places only, with every message and payment kept in the app

  • Your payment is held until the activity is done

In an emergency, always call 999 first.
